Dana Romain Hover

Married @ the very young age of 18,just 2 weeks after I graduated h.s. to my sweetheart;Darrell Avery,we were married 16 yrs & birthed 2 beautiful daughters;Mia Leigh born Oct.91' & Morgan Hillary born May 94'. Working several jobs over the years with the public & also owning a family daycare for years I also had 2 exchange students over those years. In April of 2006 Darrell & I parted ways. June 06' I then started dating the man I would 8 yrs later call my 'Husband'; Gregory Hover who is 5 1/2 yrs older than I. Greg having never been married,now has 2 daughters,neat,eh? My daughter Mia married June 1,2013 & is a full time mommy residing in Battle Creek. Her husband Travis Hoffman graduated from SVSU with his bachelor's degree in social work,however decided social work is not where his heart was....nor could he make money.Instead Travis is a co-manager @ Big Lots .The kids birthed a baby girl April 22,16,Amelia Morgan. I'm a Grammy! Amelia is named after her Aunt Morgan , who is so very proud!!! Morgan is a full time hair dresser in Caro . Greg & I married May 17,2014 @ the Montague in Bed & Breakfast in Saginaw Michigan & honeymooned on the island of Oahu,Hawaii. I have "retired" from Nexteer Automotive in Saginaw. 6 years was too long for me in a factory! At the beginning of 2017 Caro Community Schools hired me to be their middle school Media Coordinator.We are so pleased & thank God to have 2 wonderful girls, a great son in law & a beautiful grandbaby....oh God is so good!

I would have to say the only REAL funny thing that I can best remember is being nominated 'class clown'. I got teased an awful lot for being obnoxious, which I deserved! Frankly,though,I really didn't 'fit in' high school. I was there because I had to be. I think I tried to create wishful high school memories through my daughters, some of the memories I wish were my own, my girls had
created.

Getting married WAY too early & being engaged so young.....foolish times for Dana! But as far as being too young for all of that, I got the 2 most important people in my life out of the whole deal: my beautiful daughters Mia & Morgan. And for that I wouldn't change, because I would never have had the opportunity to be their mother.
